SGR-3100AD Graphic Design Basics

This course introduces students to the principles of design, and familiarizes them with a variety of software. Students will progress through guided projects aimed at improving their skills and knowledge, and will be assisted along the way with one-on-one instruction. Topics covered in this course include composition and color theory, working with vector and raster images, and designing for both print and web. Upon completion, students will have the software expertise to handle a wide variety of design projects, and will have the foundational knowledge needed to advance their learning in this field. All backgrounds and skill levels are welcome.
