97ɫ partners with BibliU to launch new campus store to offer more modern experience

97ɫnical Community College is pleased to announce a new partnership with BibliU, a leading provider of fully integrated campus store solutions. Through this collaboration, DTCC will introduce BibliU’s Universal Learning+—a modern retail experience combining refreshed physical and online stores—and implement BibliU’s Equitable Access (EA) program to ensure all students have access to required course materials.
Designed with affordability at its core, the EA program simplifies how institutions manage and deliver content, while reducing student costs and closing equity gaps. By providing inclusive, institution-wide access to required digital materials at a flat rate, the program ensures that every student has what they need to succeed, regardless of major or financial background.
“97ɫ doesn’t just serve its community — it helps shape its future. The College is not just offering classes — it’s opening doors to meaningful careers in health care, IT, biotech and beyond. It’s the kind of work that changes lives, and we’re proud to support it through the Campus Store and Equitable Access program. When students have what they need on day one, they’re in a better position to thrive. And that’s how we help advance student success across the Research Triangle,” said Dave Sherwood, CEO of BibliU.
In addition to supporting course materials access, BibliU will modernize 97ɫ’s Campus Store with a refreshed physical retail space and a user-friendly e-commerce platform. Students will have easy access to 97ɫ-branded merchandise such as apparel and memorabilia to promote school spirit, as well as practical items like office and art supplies. This collaborative approach ensures offerings align with student needs while fostering a strong sense of community and campus pride.
“We look forward to working with BibliU as our bookstore partner,” said Susan Bowen, 97ɫ vice president and chief operations officer. “We believe this company is deeply committed to providing high-quality service for our campus community and that it is dedicated to supporting student success.”
Students will receive information about the new Campus Store and Equitable Access program throughout the summer. As part of the rollout, 97ɫ will provide guidance on how to access materials, what to expect from the new flat-rate model, and how to opt out if desired.
