97ɫnical Community College unveiled its new college website Monday.
The new website streamlines the online experience for prospective and current students, including new features that support students throughout the enrollment and career exploration process.
Nathan Hardin, director of Marketing and Communications at 97ɫ, said the new site will bring real-time support for students as well as detailed program and career information.
“A focus of the project was creating a process that allowed new students to make more informed decisions as they explored our academic programs,” Hardin said. "We’re really excited to create that cohesion between career exploration and 97ɫ programs that can help our students achieve their goals.”
The website redesign project began in 2017 and was developed with Verified Studios in 97ɫ. The multi-phase project included focus group research and an in-depth content audit along with design and development.
The new website also brings real-time chat support for users, a new program exploration experience, and improved site navigation.
“A college website is the centerpiece of a college’s marketing strategy. Everything is going to drive traffic to the website,” Hardin said. “For us, it was key that we had a great centerpiece that was seamless and easy to navigate but also provides relevant program and course information. We want our students and community members to find information easier and faster.”
