Manufacturing (Continuing Education)
Short Term
Throughout the program, students will delve into the core aspects of modern manufacturing, gaining practical insights into production processes, quality control measures, and industry-specific technologies. Emphasis is placed on developing mathematical and computer literacy skills essential for effective operation within manufacturing environments.
Advanced Manufacturing & Mechatronics
Advanced manufacturing can provide rewarding careers for skilled workers in a high-tech, dynamic work environment. Students who take the Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics course will gain a better understanding of the many career pathways in Manufacturing. This course provides students will information about career options, wages, and an opportunity to network with industry professionals.
This training is a single course that covers the following topics:
- AC/DC Electricity (80 hrs)
- Motors and controls (40hrs)
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics (80 hrs)
- Programmable Logic Controllers (80hrs)
- Workplace Success - employability, communication skills, resume building (20hrs)
Students who successfully complete this training will earn industry-recognized certificates.
Prep for Your Interview & Get the Job
After successful completion of this program, students will have the opportunity to polish their resume and practice interviewing. Students will, then, have the opportunity to attend a hiring event with local companies ready to hire.
