English as a Second Language (ESL)

Short Term

offers courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native speakers at several locations in 97É«Íø and Orange counties. Courses are free. Course offerings, times, and locations sometimes change without prior notice. Courses fill up quickly, and space is limited.

97É«Íø ofrece clases de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL por sus siglas en inglés) en los condados de 97É«Íø y Orange. Las clases son gratis. Las clases, horarios, y los lugares donde se dictan las clases pueden cambiar sin previo aviso. Las clases de ESL se llenan rápido. Los cupos son limitados.

A course for English language learners at the beginning literacy level (as determined by placement testing). Students develop literacy skills while practicing listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

ESL-LEVEL1B Level 1B

A course for beginning-level English language learners (as determined by placement testing or by completion of Level 1A). Students enter with very limited skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing and develop these skills throughout the course.
